RARE
orange label from Garden Grove, California measuring approximately 10 x 11 inches. Printed in the 1930's by Crocker Union, Los Angeles. This label
is in "as is" condition having been removed from a crate end with overall wear, edge tears, missing pieces, a portion of "Orange County Valencias" is covered by a shiny substance (glue?), light overall wrinkling and rub marks - see pictures front and back for details.  California residents, please add sales tax, if applicable. We are happy to combine shipping for multiple label purchases.

Labels are great fun, they appeal to almost everyone - the graphics can be beautiful, funny, memorable and meaningful. There are many label reproductions, or copies, being sold on eBay. Whereas this can be great for many people who are now able to purchase the graphic from a very rare label which would be very expensive or impossible to find as an original, the fact remains that they are copies, either scanned from an original or even just copied off the internet. The label reproduction lacks the size and subtle nuances of an authentic label.  The printing is often grainy, on modern printer paper and just does not possess the pizzazz of the original.
Although many old labels aren't perfect, even their flaws are part of their charm and beauty - because they have survived as a piece of advertising history!
